MEKP(Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) is the catalyst added to polyester resins, casting, tooling,vinyl ester and ISO resins as well as gelcoats. As the catalyst mixes with the resin or gelcoat, a chemical reaction occurs, creating heat with cures(hardens) the resin or gelcoat. We recomment the use of our MEKP Catalyst Dispenser (Part #65200) for accurate measuring and pouring of catalyst.
