Professional quality, premium production grade, orthothalic polyester resin containing wax:
This polyester resin is waxed to provide the surface finish for polyester laminating resins. It has good resistance to impact, cracking, and crazing. It is not air-inhibited and is used for the final resin coat or when the final surface will not be pained over. It cures in the presence of air to a hard, easy-to-sand, tack-free, moisture-resistant surface. Medium viscosity with a 20 to 30 minute pot-life. Uses include the repair of automotive fenders, snowmobile hoods, boats, canoes and sail boats. It is used in laminating and coating wood and can be used with fiberglass mat, roving and cloth.
